How to cut Riley Blake Quilt Kit Fabric on the Cricut Maker
Let’s use a Riley Blake Cricut Comfort and Joy Quilt Kit to cut out fabric with the Cricut Maker! This Possibilities Riley Blake Quilt Kit with the Comfort and Joy Fabric Collection will make a Tribal Throw Quilt.
In this video, I will show you how to prep your fabric and start cutting it out on the Cricut Maker.
Steps introduced in the video above:
Press your fabric with the Cricut EasyPress to put on your 12×24 inch Cricut FabricGrip Mat.
Trim larger pieces of fabric from your quilt kit to the 12 inch width of fabric.
Pull up your quilt pattern on your iPhone, iPad, Laptop or Computer. Right now I’m getting ready to cut half square and quarter square perfect sized triangles.
Place your uncut fabric pretty side down in the 12×24 inch Cricut FabricGrip mat.
Remember that the Cricut Maker has a tiny rotary blade that will cut your fabric accurately!
Can you see the cuts of the quilting fabric on the Cricut Fabric Grip mat?
Oh what clean precise triangles for piecing together a quilt! I can’t wait to finish my Tribal Throw Quilt!
Love YOU GUYS!
Using the Cricut Rotary Cutting Blade on the Maker ensures every quilt piece is cut perfectly. Part of the art of sewing a quilt is accurate cutting and the Cricut Maker is your best friend when it comes to cutting!
